When is it?

The official start of the event, gaming and activities is 10:00AM on Saturday August 2nd 2025 and run to Monday August 4th 2025.

For those who want to show up early the site opens at 3:00PM on Friday August 1st 2025. The site officially closes 8:00PM Monday August 4th. There is no extra charge for camping on Friday.

How much does it cost?

The total cost per person will be $300.00. ($200.00 to cover the event & $100.00 to cover the catered meals all weekend) This includes catered meals for the whole event (Saturday, Sunday & Monday), site fee, admission to ALL activities, and your take home Swag Bag. There are limited spots available and your spot is only guaranteed if you have paid in full and received your reservation conformation number.

Those who register and pay by May long weekend (May 19, 2025) Will get $50.00 off as an early bird bonus! Those who pay after May 19th will pay the full $300.00.

How do I pay?

Registration and payment for Broken Heroes 2025 open on January 1st 2025!

What if I cancel?

If you cancel AFTER June 30th there is a $50.00 cancelation fee and the rest will be refunded to you. If you cancel before June 30th you will be refunded in full.

Where is it held?

Just on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The closest small town is Marsden SK. The larger cities of Wainwright AB and Lloydminster AB are about 35 minutes away.

Can I bring a RV/Camper?

Yes. Though there are no hook ups. We do have plenty of space for RV parking.

What amenities are there?

We have hot showers as well as water taps for fresh water. We also have several outhouses throughout the site.

What do I do about food?

The event is fully catered! This includes Lunch and Dinner on Friday, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday, and Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday. You are welcome to bring any additional food or snacks you like. There will be a coffee and snack shop on site. Menu is to be announced.

What about campfires?

Controlled campfires in off ground fire pits are allowed as are BBQ’s and Braziers. There are communal fire pits as well on site.

**NOTE** If there is a fire ban in place for the area NO fires will be allowed. Closed propane BBQs will still be allowed for cooking only.

Is there electricity?

Umm no…we are not kidding, it’s a Medieval Village.

What should I bring?

Tent, Camping gear, camping chair, money to shop at our merchants and snack shop and don’t forget your D&D players handbook and dice!!

What system/edition are we playing?

We will be playing D&D 5e using the Payers handbook only.

What about kids and pets?

This event is for adults only. No one under 18 allowed on site. Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.

Is there going to be alcohol?

Responsible drinking is allowed. But BYOB, NO alcohol will be sold on site.

What about smoking/vaping?

There is a designated smoking/vaping area. There is absolutely NO smoking or vaping inside any building (including outhouses) or within 5 meters of any building.

Can I attack the Gazebo?

No…leave the Gazebo alone…it’s a Gazebo.
